ways to meet the needs of our planet.
HEMP
Often tagged the “wonder fibre”, hemp
is extremely versatile and environmentally friendly,
producing twice as much fibre per acre than cotton,
and it needs no pesticides and little water. It
even helps replenish the soil in which it’s
grown. Hemp fabric can be soft and flowing or as
tough and durable as denim.
BAMBOO
Bamboo is starting to make its mark on the fashion
industry. It’s grass that self-renews super
quickly, and it doesn’t require the use of
harsh chemicals or fertilisers to grow. The fabric
is incredibly soft and it’s used in apparel,
headwear and accessories. Bamboo is also antibacterial.
JUTE
Jute is totally natural, biodegradable and recyclable.
The jute plant (related to hemp) grows from seed
in just 120 days, making it extremely sustainable.
It can be used to make strong fabrics used for bags
and headwear, perfect for the beach.
